- Anycubic Foldable portable 3D printer supports five rotation axes
- Comes with a dedicated filament storage solution that keeps materials organized
- Control, monitor and adjust settings via a touch screen interface
The world of 3D printing has seen its reasonable proportion of stylish and innovative designs in recent years, such as Elegoo Centauri Carbon and Creality K2 Plus, but Anycubics folding portable 3D printer still hopes to impress.
Unlike some of the best 3D printers, which are voluminous and stationary, this model is folded from Shenzhen Anycubic Technology Co., LTD (via IF Design) down to only 75 mm in height and has five rotation axes to collapse nicely and be carried as a donkey.
The arms with multiple axes allow the printing head to stop in any position, and it can print up to 460 mm in height to fit projects of different sizes.
Slim design with practical features
Anycubics printer has a modern light gray-silver color scheme with a dark, square print bed probably made of glass or a coated material for adhesion and light removal of pressure.
Its extruding system has an active cooling fan to prevent filament jam, while a dedicated drawer-style filament coil holder is nicely stored in a sliding room in the base, keeping the material organized and easily accessible.
In addition, the nozzle seems to be of standard size, compatible with different filament types, including PLA and PETG.
The printer includes a touch screen interface that offers an intuitive way of navigating settings and monitoring prints. Connection options include two USB-A ports, a USB-C port and a micro-HDMI port that allows users to load in printed files.
Anycubic’s latest innovation could redefine what users expect from portable 3D printers, and have already won the IF Design Award 2025, but the company has not offered any official launch date.
