- It’s the world’s first under-250g ‘bi-copter’ drone
- Created by ZZR, Manufacturers of Our Favorite Selfie -Drone, The HoverAir X1 Pro
- Lifting about faster acceleration, unmatched agility and quieter flight
After a soft reveal on the V-Copter site last month, Zero Zero Robotics has fully revealed its V-copter Falcon Mini Drone on the product’s audience financing page.
It is the world’s first under-250g BI-COPTER drone-a radically different design for the best quad-copter DJI drones, and the suspected upside is faster acceleration, unmatched agility plus more quiet and longer flight.
We covered the V-Copter Falcon Mini after it appeared on the V-Copter site-it follows the beef Falcon, which largely flew under the radar but weighs under 250 g, which means it is more accessible to more people and now we know the full specifications and pricing.
The tempting $ 299 list price (about £ 270 / AU $ 550) sees the Falcon Mini rival DJI’s Mini 4K and Mini 3 Drones, plus the recent Potensic Atom 2, and if it delivers its promises, the 4K BI-Copter offer could be the best choice for people who want to extend fly.
Could V-Copter Falcon Mini interfere with the drone market?
Most of the best consumer drones are Quad Copters, but the Falcon Mini has only half of the propellers sitting in a V-shape over the drone’s body.
This two-Copter design and propeller positioning enables a number of range of motion range rotors to work independently and tilt in opposite directions for sharp turns and precise maneuvers, and thus the ‘unmatched agility’.
Another advantage of such a design is that the rotors can tilt downwards to optimize the airflow and push for fast and powerful acceleration, within milliseconds of the drone is engaged. A reverse floating set also debuts, freeing flight skills and tricks such as Upside down flight and a ‘Reverse One Foot Spin’ – Archive them under Flyveskov, rather than for air shoots.
Air willingness is also allegedly the top drawer thanks to real -time aircraft paving and a 0.01 rotor angle precision. Along with a three-axis gimbal stabilized camera, users must enjoy smooth 4K video footage, with 2.7,000 vertical video also possible.

The product is now available to backers on V-Copter Falcon Mini Crowdfunding page, with a limited number of early backers capable of packing the drone for $ 199 (about £ 180 / AU $ 350) or for the full $ 299 price.
As always back at your own risk. However, we would say that Zero Zero Robotics’ recent history is to secure – its recent HoverAir X1 Pro ‘Selfie’ drone was carried out crowd financing, and today is the best of its kind.
In fact, ZZR makes drones differently; First, a selfie drone that DJI responded to with his recent NEO was now a bi-copter mini drone. For us, the competition is ZZR DJI and more so innovation is very welcome.
The Falcon Mini is a drone we really look forward to testing – and of course we will share our experiences. See this space!
