Thousands of Rally over Pakistan to condemn Israeli attacks on Sumud Flotilla

Thousands of people in Karachi and other major cities and cities in Sindh came out on the roads to condemn the Israeli attack on aid ships on their way to Gaza.

At the appeal of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, a nationwide protest day was observed on Friday against the Israeli attack on the global Sumud-Flotilla. Similar collections were held in almost every major town of Sindh.

In this context, over 100 protests and rallies were held across different districts and cities Karachi, where people from all walks of life – especially youth – participated in large numbers and expressed their deep solidarity with the Palestinian people. Ji staged rallies in every major town of Sindh.

Ji Karachi Ameer Monem Zafar said: “The purpose of gathering millions of people at Gaza Solidarity March is to send a clear message to the world that we stand with the oppressed Palestinians.”

The JI leader expressed these views while talking to media representatives at the inauguration of a camp created on Fresco Chowk, Burns Road, in connection with the march held on October 5 at Shahrah-E-Faisal.

Terrorist act

Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat Karachi Division organized a major protest outside Markaz-e-A-Ahle Sunnat, Masjid Siddiq-E-Akbar in Nagan Chowrangi and condemned the Israeli attack on the global Sumud Flotilla. A significant number of scholars, activists and citizens participated and held posters and banners condemning Israeli brutality.

Speakers, including Aswj Pakistan -President Allama Aurangzeb Farooqi and Karachi -Leader Maulana Rab Nawaz Hanfi, declared the attack a terrorist act and a war against humanity. They criticized global powers and human rights organizations for their silence and called it a reflection of double standards.

The protesters urged Muslim leaders to wake up from their gossip and adopt a unified strategy to defend the oppressed in Gaza. The collection repeated strong calls for justice and demanded immediate international action against Israel’s aggression and support for Palestinian rights.

Israel is exposed

Central Muslim League Karachi organized a protest outside the Karachi Press Club against the Israeli attack on the global Sumud Flotilla. Protesters waved Palestinian flags and sang slogans in support of Palestine and against Israel. They said the attack on the relief broadcast exposed Israel’s true and ugly face.

Speakers, including Sindh President Faisal Nadeem and Karachi President Nadeem Awan, condemned Israeli’s history of violence against Palestinians and rejected the two-state solution and claimed that Palestine is a single superb state.

The mission of Flotilla, they said, successfully exposed Israel’s oppressive tactics to the world. Protesters declared that the larger Israel plan is a threat to global peace and a conspiracy to dominate Muslim nations.

Crime against humanity

Pakistan Sunni Tehreek strongly condemned Israeli assault on the global Sumud flotilla and the arrest of its humanitarian volunteers as a crime against humanity. Chairman Engr. Sarwat Ejaz Qadri praised the courage for over 500 participants from 44 countries who risked their lives to provide help to Gaza and called the attack a crime against humanity.

Central President Sahibzada Allama Bilal Abbas Qadri condemned the Trump Peace Plan as a violation of Palestinian rights and called on global institutions – including UN, OIC and human rights organizations – to take immediate steps towards Israel’s aggression.

He emphasized that the international community should stand with the oppressed people in Gaza. The movement stated that millions of conscientious individuals around the world protest Israeli brutality and confirm their commitment to support Palestine’s struggle for justice and freedom.

MWMP rejects the Trump plan

Majlis Wahdat-E-Muslime Pakistan Karachi President Alama Sadiq Jafferi strongly rejected the Trump Peace Plan and called it a treason with Palestinian rights and a threat to Gaza’s sovereignty.

He spoke by a protest outside Masjid Haider-e-Karar in Orangi Town and emphasized that Pakistan belongs to Quaid-E-Azam, not Trump.

Protesters condemned the plan as a strategic attempt to isolate Gaza political, economic and socially and violated international laws and human rights.

Leaders also condemned the Israeli attack on the global Sumud flotilla and the arrest of over 150 relief workers, including Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan. They called the assault an obvious violation of humanitarian norms and required immediate release of all imprisoned.

Protests in Sindh

Lower Sindh witnessed widespread protests on Friday across the district and Tehsil headquarters, condemned Israeli aggression and demanded the release of global Sumud Flotilla members, including former Pakistani Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan. Protesters expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza and condemned Israel’s blockade of humanitarian aid.

In Sujawal, rallies led by religious groups such as Sunni Rabita Council and Jamiat Disadvantaged Disadvantage of the Large crowds. Protesters shouted anti-Israeli slogans and burned Effigies by Israeli leaders. Similar demonstrations took place in Sanghar, Badin, Tando Adam, Matli, Sakrand and Jhudo, organized by Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan Central Muslim League and students organizations.

Speakers condemned Israel as a terrorist state and accused it of violating international laws by detaining relief workers and attacking peaceful convoys. Protesters rejected any peace plan excluding Hamas and called for the recognition of a sovereign Palestinian state.

Protests break beyond KP in solidarity with Palestinians

By the call of Jamati Nynda-e-Islam Pakistan (Jui-F) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), protest meetings were staged over Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Friday to express solidarity with the oppressed people in Palestine. Demonstrations were held in all districts of the province in accordance with nationwide protests announced by both parties.

According to reports, major gatherings took place in Peshawar, Charsadda, Marran, Swabi, Nowshera, Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram, Shangla, Kohistan, Palas, Malakand, SWAT, Lower and Upper Dir, Chitral, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Tankn, Tankn, Daera, as a Khan and Khan, the merged tribal districts.

The rallys arranged under the banner by Jui-F and JI were led by provincial and district leaders, lawmakers and prominent scholars. During their post, leaders condemned the Israeli attack on the humanitarian flotilla and expressed concern about the arrest of Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and other political figures. They urged Muslim leaders around the world to play an active role in stopping Israeli aggression.

Speakers also demanded that Pakistan’s embassies use their diplomatic influence to ensure the release of Senator MUSHTAQ Ahmad Khan. They emphasized that Israeli forces continue to commit brutals in Palestine and Gaza and tried to suppress the oppressed votes through violence.

However, they added that the Palestinian people remain steadfast and continue their struggle for the release of al-Quds despite huge victims.

The Jui-F leadership emphasized that their party has consistently raised its vote for Palestine, both within and outside of Parliament, and will continue to expand any possible support.

By rejecting Trump’s so-called “Peace Plan for the Middle East”, they warned that any deviation from the Pakistani government from the principles laid down by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah would have a strong opposition from Jui-F.

They concluded by claiming that a fair solution to Palestine question must reflect its people’s will rather than being imposed through foreign formulas.
