ISLAMABAD:
Three officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), who were investigated by the FIA for their involvement in extorting money from a well-known YouTuber and call centers, resigned from their posts.
According to a release, Deputy Director Sarfaraz Chaudhry, Assistant Director Muhammad Usman and Assistant Director Shoaib Riaz resigned from their posts. “This is to inform that the following officers have been relieved from the NCCIA as of the date of approval of their resignation – November 20.”
Another official, Assistant Director Asma Majeed, also resigned from her post.
