- Thunderbolts* Can fall on Disney+ at the end of August
- A leaked ad has indicated that it will be with us by the end of the month
- It was the last Marvel Phase 5 movie to land in theaters
Thunderbolts* Apparently is set to make his bow on Disney+ at the end of August.
The Marvel movie, which underpinned at the cash office office after its global theater release in early May, apparently comes to the streaming service on Wednesday, August 27.
As I outlined in my Thunderbolts* At Disney+ Piece, Marvel’s parent company has not officially confirmed when the Marvel Phase 5 movie joins the film rows of its primary streaming platform. A TV spot caught by an eagle-eyed fan in Greece, which they subsequently uploaded a screenshot to Marvel Studios-Indreddit today (August 8), Florence Pugh-fronted superhero films apparently revealed that it lands on that date.
I have reached Disney for an official comment on the leak and I will update this article if I receive an answer.

Thunderbolts* was the second of three Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films that were released this year. Despite being greeted with critical recognition – do you have to read my Thunderbolts* Review to see what I was thinking about it and where I subsequently ranked it in my best Marvel film guide – the ensemble’s flick struggled to translate positive mouth to mouth into significant ticket sales.
In fact, it ended its race at the worldwide ticket office with an on -a -down $ 382.4 million. That’s enough to make it the 10th highest gross film from 2025 so far (at the time of publication, anyway). Nevertheless, it is far from the economic winds of Marvel Films of Yesteryear, including 2019’s Avengers: Endgame (2.8 billion dollars), 2021’s Spider-Man: No way home (1.92 billion dollars) and even last year’s Deadpool and Wolverine ($ 1.3 billion).
Despite its ticket office underprestiation, Thunderbolts* is an integral part of the Marvel Multiverse saga that will be wrapped in with the next Avengers movies – Avengers: Judgment Day and Avengers: Secret Wars – It is expected in December 2026 and December 2027.
