‘Thunderbolts*’ Star Raves about Marvel’s Big Decision

‘Thunderbolts*’ actress calls Marvel Decision ‘HUGE AGREEMENT’

IN Thunderbolts*, Marvel focuses on loneliness and fights depression. Florence Pugh, who played Yelena, says this is a huge deal.

In an interview with EWsaid the actress, “Oh my god, it’s massive. It’s a huge deal. It’s a huge deal that this theme was made with a Marvel budget and they were interested enough to make it the main event.”

“And it’s so important, so important to everyone right now,” she adds.

This theme, Florence said, also appeared in 2021’s Black Widow. “It was the story of these girls and these women and the control they were put under that really made me want to be part of that story,” notes the star.

“And I was like,” Whoa, lots of girls want to go and watch this movie, and they are trained and inspired, and it’s so cool, “she continues.

“And I feel the same with this. So many people, adults and children will see this, and if they need it, they will see themselves or their friends or their partners in it, and it is so wonderful to be able to make a movie for the masses that you know will be useful,” Florence concludes.

Thunderbolts* Runs in theaters.
