Tiger Woods was handcuffed last week after a lengthy field sobriety test.
Woods blew “triple zero” on a breathalyzer but still underwent a test because of his “slurred” movements and other signs of impairment, authorities said.
Woods told law enforcement prior to the field sobriety tests that he underwent seven back surgeries and “over 20 surgeries on his legs.” He told law enforcement that “I take a couple” of prescription drugs. In 2021, he was involved in a wreck that resulted in serious leg injuries that kept him off the golf course for the entire year.

He also mentioned that his ankle was fused and he walks with a limp due to the injuries. Due to the nature of his injuries, the authorities made him perform the exercises sitting down.
The first exercise Woods did was to follow a finger with his eyes, which he struggled with. He was also told to bring his fingertips to his nose.
After alternating between the palm and the back of the other hand as he alternated between counting 1 and 2, another movement he had trouble with, he was tasked with one more exercise that included making fists, clapping, and more counting.
After the four drills, a deputy asked Woods to turn around and place his hands behind his back. Woods was then placed in handcuffs.
