Tiger Woods Playing a cruel joke on those who were disappointed with his absence in Masters Tuesday, using April Fools’ Day as a way of wizarding fans over his latest injury.
Earlier this month, Woods announced that he had undergone “minimally invasive” operation to repair A broken Achilles -sen, As he noticed while training for the first major of the year.

“When I began to increase my own training and practice at home, I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles, which was considered to be broken,” he said in a statement on social media. “I’m home now and plan to focus on my recovery and rehabilitation, thanks for all support.”

Wood, 49, did not specify when he would return this year, and given his long list of injuries, fans assumed it would be some time.
But on Tuesday, Woods announced that he would compete at Augusta National.
“I can’t believe I say this, but a few weeks after breaking my left Achilles, the sleeping one has a hyperbarian chamber plus the explosive lifts my doctors and coaches ready to play Masters next week! Can’t wait! See y’all on the course,” he said in a post on X.

But before fans could get too excited, the 15-time winner revealed his prank.
“PS April Fools My Achilles is still a mess :)”
Despite the heartache, fans on social media reacted well to the joke.
“I’m glad you still have a sense of humor … Even if you’ve crushed many dreams this morning,” a user wrote.
“Went right into this one. Nice Shot Tiger,” added another.

Woods has a rebound from a laundry list of injuries, but he has not been the same since he won his last major in 2019 at Masters. He had a sixth back surgery last September and has had problems with the Achilles senior before. He also quoted the left Achilles -sen in withdrawing from Players Championship In 2011, when he was out for two months.
It is unclear how long his latest injury will sideline him for this year.
