Social media platform TikTok removed a total of 28,198,284 videos in Pakistan during the third quarter (July to September) of the current financial year 2025-2026 for violations of its community guidelines.
According to TikTok, the proactive content removal rate in Pakistan reached a record high of 99.8 percent, while 95.9 percent of videos were removed within 24 hours of upload.
In this regard, TikTok has released its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the third quarter (July-September) of the 2025-26 financial year, reflecting the platform’s commitment to providing users with a safe digital environment.
The report, based on data from July to September, details the proactive measures TikTok has taken to identify and remove content that violates its community guidelines, ensuring a positive experience for its global community.
During the third quarter of 2025, TikTok removed a total of 28,198,284 videos in Pakistan. The proactive removal rate was 99.8 percent, with 95.9 percent of videos removed within 24 hours of being posted.
TikTok stated that as technology increasingly handles much of this work, its trust and security team is able to focus more on areas that require human judgment, such as reviewing appeals, consulting outside experts and responding effectively to rapidly evolving situations.
Globally, in the same quarter, TikTok removed a total of 204,534,932 videos worldwide, accounting for approximately 0.7 percent of all content uploaded on the platform.
Of the videos removed, 186,608,081 were removed through automated detection technologies.
