The Islamabad police have reportedly arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of Tikker Sana Yousaf in the capital’s sector G-13.
CCTV recordings of the alleged killer are also picked up.

Interior Minister praises police efforts
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the Islamabad police and said, “Well done to the Islamabad -Police. Sana Yousaf -Murder Case was resolved, the accused arrested and weapons recovered within 20 hours.”
The incident took place yesterday in Islamabad when a young girl was murdered by a masked attack. The suspect was arrested just an hour ago. Police have regained the gun used in the crime, along with the deceased girl’s iPhone. The defendant has also confessed to the murder.
NCSW condemns the murder of Tiktoker Sana Yousaf
The National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) has strongly condemned the murder of Tiktoker Sana Yousaf. In a statement, Ume-Laila Azhar, President of NCSW, called the law “Unacceptable” and emphasized that it reflects the broader question of patriarchal violence against women in society.
“This abominable act is a clear reflection of the violence facing women in a patriarchal community,” Azhar said. “It is a sharp reminder that more needs to be done to protect women from such atrocities.”
NCSW has called for an immediate, transparent and thorough examination of the incident. “We demand that the authorities take quick action to bring the perpetrator to justice,” Azhar added.
The chairman also emphasized that the killer must be arrested and the law must take his way. “We expect the perpetrators to be held responsible for securing justice for Sana and her family,” Azhar said.
Shahida Rehmani calls the murder of a waking call to society
The women’s parliamentary Caucus has strongly condemned the assassination of influencer on social media Sana Yousaf from Chitral. In a statement, President Shahida Rehmani expressed deep concern, called the incident “shocking” and emphasized the broader societal consequences.
“Her murder is not only the end of a talented young woman’s life, but also a question of our collective conscience,” Rehmani said. “Sana Yousaf was a girl who had positively marked herself and inspired thousands of young people. Her brutal murder is deeply sad.”
Rehmani demanded further immediate investigations of the incident and called on the authorities to arrest the killer and give justice to the victim’s family. “Women’s safety is a basic responsibility for the state,” she said. “This tragic incident emphasizes that women, no matter how influential or talented, remain vulnerable.”
