Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s relationship have reportedly been a roller coaster, but over the past few years they were on good terms until Katy was recently seen without her engagement ring, which has given rise to rumors that their relationship was on the rocks.

For those who are not daring, their love story started back in 2016, when they were seen to get too close to each other. A source confirmed to US weekly that they were “extremely flirty and whispered to each other. He would lean in to whisper into her ear and touch the little one of her back while chatting.”
Later, Katy confirmed their relationship in an Instagram post where both actors had matching robes. After dating for almost a year at the time the couple broke down as confirmed by their representative, “before rumors or forgeries get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy take respectful, loving space at this time.”

In 2017 April, Orlando appeared in an interview and said, “We are friends, that’s good … It’s better to give an example for children and show that [breakups] don’t have to be about hate. ”

Then, in September 2018, the couple officially made their relationship by acting together in public. Next year, the actor suggested the day after Valentine’s Day with 4.5 Karat Ruby and Diamond Ring. The following March, the couple moved in together.
According to the first marketing market, the couple planned their wedding, but had to postpone it as reported, “they changed the timing because of the place they want.”
Shortly after this in March 2020, the couple announced their pregnancy in an Instagram post in which Katy wrote, “It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you in the best way through a piece of music.”
In August 2020, the couple welcomed their first child and released a statement saying, “We are flowing with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter”
By moving on in February 2022 Katy revealed that they are planning their wedding, but then again in 2023 it is reported to have said their relationship as “challenging.”
“We are in two very different pools,” said Orlando. “Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands. Sometimes things are really, really, really challenging. I don’t lie. We certainly struggle with our feelings and creativity.”
While the couple has not confirmed their split yet another insider reported to the New York Post in June 2025 “It’s over. They just wait until the trip is done before they split.”
