Timothee Chalamet’s professor of high school, Harry Shifman, sent an encouraging note to his student ahead of Oscars in 2025.
On the red carpet of Academy Awards Sunday 2nd March, Access to Hollywood the 29-year-old actor showed a clip from his beloved drama teacher working on the New York City’s Fiorello H. Laguardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
“Well Pal, you’ve served your Keep and recognition of your artist’s creation in bringing humanity to life with weddings and passion and grace,” praised the drama teacher Chalamet in the video posted in Outlet’s Tiktok account.
Shifman continued to say, “Take it all in, feel it and bring us more … and always remember when Bob Dylan once said, ‘Keep a good head and always carry a light bulb.’ Blessings Pal.

Shiman Gyste over Chalam’s ability to emotionally connect with his viewers and his “style and flare” and said, “It’s rare to see a child of the age that has both happened.”
He also revealed in the clip that the then teenager Chalamet was originally rejected by the school and later distinction in each category.
