Typically, wet and dry vacuum cleaners are bulky beasts. Sure, they’ll get your hard floors sparkling clean, but you might need to sit down after using one, and an XL cleaning cabinet to store it, too.
Tineco – one of the leading brands in this field – has brought a new model that aims to change all that. FLOOR ONE i7 Fold is a wet-dry vacuum cleaner that looks (and moves) almost like a cordless stick vacuum cleaner. I had a chance to try one at CES 2026, and I was impressed with how compact and nimble it was.
The i7 Fold weighs just under 8 lbs (3.6 kg) – which is actually smaller than some standard stick vacuums, including the Shark PowerDetect wireless (8.38 lbs / 3.8 kg). It’s impressively streamlined for this type of cleaner, but the feature that really stands out when it comes to ease of use is that it can be hinged forward in the middle.
This means that it can be bent into an L shape for easier cleaning under furniture. It’s an idea borrowed from the best wireless vacuum cleaners, and it’s a game-changer if you don’t want to get down on the floor to clean under the cabinets. This model can also lie completely flat, and Tineco has helpfully added a small wheel on the underside of the main body for easier maneuvering in this position.
The forward-bent body also means this vacuum can be folded in half for more compact storage.
A Tineco representative explained to me that shrinking the body of this wet-dry vacuum was a serious feat of engineering. Impressively, there are no major compromises in performance either – it has just a tad less suction power than Tineco’s full-size options, and will typically last around 20-30 minutes per charge as well.
The Floor One i7 Fold is featured on the US Tineco website, but not yet available for purchase. I’m confirming launch dates and pricing and will update this article when I know more.
