Leshner bought a 56.9% controlling share in the company for $ 2.03 million, according to a document filed for SEC. The move sent shares in LQR up to 45% during Monday trade.

“I might lose all my investments, and so can you,” he added.
It was not immediately clear whether Leshner has any plans for digital assets in his turning plans. However, the acquisition fits into a growing trend with prominent figures in cryptocirculants that take the helm for listed companies.
