Dallas Cowboys visit Chicago Bears Sunday in “America’s Game of the Week” at FOX. Bears are looking for their first win of the season, while Cowboys are aiming for another win in a row.

Tom Brady, the main analyst for FOX’s NFL coverage, will be in the TV stand for the call along with play-by-play advertisement Kevin Burkhardt. As the highly expected game came closer, Brady took a moment to reflect on one of the more forgetful moments in his Storied NFL career that took place the last time he played on Historic Soldier Field.

Brady played for Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 when he confused what he thought was a fourth down with what was in fact a third down.

“You know, sometimes I even ruin things,” Brady said at “History Time With Tom.” When he watched a video -rewarding his mistake, “and I did that day.”

Bucs pulled the bears with a point in the last minute of the game as Brady’s passport to Cameron Brate fell incomplete. Tampa Bay was aiming to get in field target interval. Brady stayed on the field and continued to hold up four fingers – a sign that the team had another opportunity to get the crucial yardage for the field goal.

“Breaked on the third down,” Brady said in Joken. “What’s the next acting? Fourth down? I thought what happened on the third down was the incompleteness of Cam Brate.”

Bucs did not return to Chicago for another game in Brady’s subsequent seasons. Although almost five years have passed, Brady admitted he was not happy with his actions from that moment.

“I couldn’t believe what I forgot,” Brady said. “I think I actually clocked a ball. It was a bad mess. Bad for the quarterback to know what it is, it’s for sure.”

“If they gave us a fifth down, I might have converted fourth down and moved the sticks,” he added.

Despite the slip up, Brady’s first season away from New England Patriots eventually showed success. He hoisted Vince Lombardi Trophy for the seventh time in his career, which led Buccaneers to victory in the Super Bowl LV.

The Cowboys-Bears game starts at. 16.25 one at Fox on September 21.
