The Philadelphia Eagles dominated Washington commanders in this last Sunday’s NFC championship game to earn a seat in the Super Bowl Lix in New Orleans.
Seven-time Super Bowl winner and Fox Sports Broadcaster Tom Brady was in the broadcast stall at Lincoln Financial Field for Eagles ’55 -23 victory.
At one point during the playoffs, TV cameras panned for former Eagles Quarterback and Super Bowl Lii MVP Nick Foldes, sitting in one of the stadium’s suites.

Seeing Foldes in the crowd caused Brady, who suffered one of his three career Super Bowl defeats to the Foles-led Eagles to remember the notorious loss.

While Brady has appeared in a record 10 Super Bowls, Foldes and Eli Manning are the only starting quarterbacks that have beaten the decorated former NFL star in the big game.
Brady used Foles’ NFC title game appearance as an opportunity to admit that he has no jealousy for the former Eagle’s signal call. “Nick, I don’t hate you. I’m just jealous of you. You caught it, I didn’t,” said Brady after Fox Sports Lead Play-by-Play Annoncør Kevin Burkhardt Joked Joked Brady if he knew who Foldes competed against in the Super Bowl in February 2018.
Brady’s “You CkeinT It” Comment referred to the famous “Philly Special” Trick Play under the Super Bowl Lii. Foldes got up in the back field before the offensive Lineman Jason Kelce broke the ball to run Corey Clement back.

The run threw the ball to the tight end Trey Burton, who found Foldes in the final zone of a one-yard touchdown. Foles wrote his name in history books by becoming the first player in the Super Bowl story to throw and catch a touchdown pass in the NFL’s annual championship game.
While Foldes successfully drawn into the pass that was thrown under the Super Bowl Lii, Brady could not catch a care from one of his broad recipients later in the same game. Eagles fans have not let Brady forget to drop what would have been a first down.

“I am reminded of that game every time I see an Eagles fan,” Brady said via Siriusxm in 2022.
“I’m sure when hell can’t catch anything, everyone has seen that fall against Eagles in the Super Bowl, but I can throw it a little,” Joked Brady in 2021 – his second season with Tampa Bay Buccaneers – During a postgame interview .
Brady won six Super Bowl titles with New England Patriots before winning his seventh championship with Buccaneers. In February 2023, Brady announced that he was retiring “for good.”

Foles’ second stint with Eagles ended after the 2018 season. He continued to play for Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts. He appeared last in an NFL game in 2022.
The Eagles Draft Quarterback Jalen hurts the second round by 2020. Hurts helped Eagles move on to the Super Bowl LVII, but suffered a 38-35 loss to Kansas City Chiefs in this game. This year’s big match on February 9 in New Orleans will be a new match for the Super Bowl from two years ago.
A win over the Eagles would secure an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl title for Chiefs. But if Philly is victorious, it would mark the franchise’s second Super Bowl championship.
