Tom Cruise participated in the European premiere at Brad Pitt’s “F1: The Movie” in London on Monday.
Cruise made a surprising performance and joined Brad Pitt on the red carpet as the two A-list stars stood for photographs together.
According to BlackIt was a reunion 31 years in creation when Pitt and Cruise starred together in Neil Jordan’s Horror classic from 1994 “Interview with a vampire.”
Talking to E! News Recently, Brad Pitt said he would be interested in shopping for cruise again, but added jokingly that he is not too interested in matching the Tom Gun actor’s love for air stunts.
“Well, I don’t want to hang my a ** from aircraft and sh ** like that,” Pitt said to reunite with a cruise on the big screen.
“Then when he does something again that is on the ground, [then yes]. “
This is the first time that the 61-year-old Pitt, who plays the fictional racing driver Sonny Hayes in the Apple Originals movie, has been driving a real Formula 1 car on the field.
Meanwhile, Hollywood’s Film Academy said Tom Cruise is among the luminaires chosen to receive the honorary oscars this year for lifetime results.
Cruise was chosen in his decades of work in “Risky Business”, two “Top Gun” films and several other films.
He was nominated for best actor twice, for “Born July” and “Jerry Maguire”, as well as best supportive actor for “Magnolia.”
“Tom Cruise’s incredible commitment to our film -creating society, to the theater experience and to the stunts community has inspired us all,” the academy’s president Janet Yang said in a statement.
