Tom Holland looks back with love and some humor on its iconic 2017 Lip Sync Battle achievement that famous saw him dancing in fishing nets to Rihanna’s Umbrella.
In a recent cooking segment with Gordon Ramsay, Spider-Man Star, remembered the moment while preparing a spicy fried chicken sandwich at Gordon Ramsay Academy.
The host Ramsay asked the Holland about the fishing nets he wore during the performance, and asked, “Was they Mother’s Fish Net?” Holland laughed and replied, “They were actually my grandmother.”
The performance that began with a nikk to Singin ‘in the rain Before the launch of the Rihanna number with high energy, many surprised.
“What was really good about it was that people didn’t know I could dance,” Holland said. “I kept it quiet, I don’t know why. And I came out with a smell.”
Later during the show, the Netherlands also revealed that his father, director Dominic Holland, was in doubt about the performance.
“When I told my dad, he was like,” son, I don’t think it’s a good idea. I don’t think you should do it, ”remembered the Netherlands.
“I think he was just, at the time in my career, very worried that I was getting too famous for quickly. So he was really eager that I didn’t do extra TV shows that I didn’t have to do to try to preserve that part of my childhood.”
