Rawalpindi:
The planned hearing of Toshakhana II case against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, who were to take place in Adiala Prison Monday (today), was once canceled. A new date will be announced according to PTI founder’s lawyer Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry.
Chaudhry said on Sunday that the court’s staff had informed PTI lawyers, whom the court would now convene the Islamabad Complex where the fresh consultation date would be suspended. The last hearing in the case was held on February 17.
He noted that the pace of litigation against the PTI founder varied significantly.
“Sometimes the cases are pushed forward with lightning speed while at other times they continue at a snail pace,” he said.
