Tourists flow to Murree when the snowfall transforms landscape

Murree and the northern areas experience an increase in tourism such as heavy snowfall blankets the upper parts of Pakistan.

According to Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) officials, the snowfall has attracted thousands of visitors who are eager to enjoy the picturesque winter landscapes, with popular destinations such as Murree Mall Road, Jhiga Gali, Ayubia, Kashmir Point and Ghora Gali, Swat, Malam Jabba, Witnesses of a significant impact.

Local authorities have deployed additional staff, including traffic police and administrative staff, to manage the increase in visitors. Murree Chief Traffic Officer emphasized the need for security and advised tourists to arrive at well -equipped four -wheeled vehicles and to avoid parking on the main roads. “Our traffic staff have helped vehicles struggling with smooth conditions, and I praise them for their diligent work in such extreme weather.”
