Islamabad:
A private air club’s training aircraft crashed near the new Islamabad International Airport on Saturday, although both people on board, including a female trainee pilot, escaped.
The plane went down near the Airport Tower 39 in fields close to Ramah Village. According to aviation sources, the aircraft had taken off on a routine training flight as it reportedly encountered a technical malfunction in the air, causing it to go down.
Næsteams rushed to the stage and transported the pilots to the hospital for medical examination. Security officials sealed the area and immediately launched an investigation.
