Former American gymnast and founder of Women’s Activist Sportswear-Mark XX-Xy Athletics Jennifer Sey participated in a debate with Pro-Transgender Kevin Bolling, CEO of the Sekular Student Alliance, on the topic of Trans Athletes in Women’s Sports Wednesday.
The debate was sponsored by the Steamboat Institute and took place at the University of Colorado, Boulder’s Benson Center for The Study of Western Civilization.
Based on pre- and post-debate data collected from the audience, Sey’s attitude to opposing trans-athletes in women’s sports seemed to be the winning argument.

The purpose before Debate found that 85% of the participants disagreed with allowing trans athletes in women’s sports, while 9% agreed with it and 6% were indecisive. In the voting after debate, the percentage of those who disagreed with trans-inclusion ran to 90%, while those who agreed with it dropped to 6%and the indefinite fell to 3%.
Sey’s case that she repeated during the debate was “Based on reality.”
Early on, Sey insisted that she would not use the term “biological woman” in the debate.

“I don’t want to use biological woman because it insists there’s another type of woman. There’s not. There’s just a woman,” said Sey. “There has been bullying in the culture of the language we cannot use … I try to use expressions that reflect the biological reality.”
SEY also cited several statistics all night and related to natural physical qualities that often give men physical benefits over women, and a UN study that found that almost 900 biological females have come under victories because they have been defeated by transient athletes.

SEY’s argument was also based on the belief that sports, especially at a high level, are not intended to be “inclusive” for a particular group and that sports are basically assumed to be “exclusive” for competitiveness.
Meanwhile, Bolling’s argument against SEY was based on the prerequisite for promoting transient rights as a whole.
During the debate, Bolling admitted that supporting trans -cluttering in women’s sports at the moment was not a “popular” attitude. Then he compared the question of trans -cladding with previous civil rights movements, including women’s voting rights, racial separation and even “ending of slavery,” which claimed that advocates for these issues were also not popular in the past.
“Civil rights are not a popularity competition,” Bolling said.
