Transfence Controvers: Stephanie Turner calls USA fence ‘extremists’

On Thursday, the organization defended its current policy for trans-inclusion in a public statement.

“The US Fence remains obliged to promote an inclusive, respectful society for everyone in our sport. We believe in the principle of creating safe communities where all athletes and members of the community have a place,” the statement reads.

“While we understand that there are a number of perspectives, US hencing will continue to engage in respectful, research-based dialogue and review as the policy develops in the Olympic and Paralympic movement as well as domestic law, hatred of any kind is not acceptable-in personal or personal.
