The initiative aims to strengthen transking individuals through vocational education in various areas such as that, freelancing, tailoring, fashion design, electrical work, solar technology, beauty services, culinary art and health assistance.

Under the first phase, 1,600 trans -fun people will be trained through Punjab Skills Development Fund.

The program is part of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision of financial dignity introduced under the slogan: “Transgders will serve with dignity, not beg.”

Maryam Nawaz condemned abuse of transient persons and highlighted their marginalization due to social exclusion and lack of employment opportunities.

“This training will not only provide skills, but also restore respect and legitimate status in society,” she said. “Talent has no gender.”

Officials say that the initiative helps transient individuals to become self -reliant and pursue careers beyond societal stereotypes.
