Still, Jason admitted that he “wants” to see Sanders play.

“What do I want? I want to see Sandeur Sanders,” Jason said.

Former NFL -Quarterback Derek Carr questioned why Sanders was not left in the game to finish the last drive.

“I have to understand why we don’t see that flush Sanders running this 2-minute exercise? Wouldn’t you see your young QB operate in this situation? Get him more reps for the future? I didn’t see the whole game, so maybe he already showed enough? Help me understand this …” Carr on X. wrote.

“They sabotaged it, the rich it against him today and put him in with the third and fourth strings, fifth strings, you got no shot on quarterback,” Bayless said.

ESPN -host Stephen A. Smith revealed a text message from an associate that compared the situation with Colin Kaepernick, who was out of the NFL since 2016, which suggested “collaboration.”

“‘This is a bad look for the NFL. This feels like Kaepernick-level collusion,'” Smith said of the contents of the text, adding that the situation goes beyond “talent evaluation.”

“All the hard work that the NFL League office puts on to eradicate these kinds of perceptions only to turn and see when the owners look like they are crashing, and messy all.
