Philadelphia Eagles Star Render AJ Brown has only one touchdown reception throughout the first four games of the season. Despite Browns on the on -off personal statistics, Eagles enter week 5 as one of only two undefeated NFL teams.

Brown has proved frustrated by its limited role in the offense. His apparent dissatisfaction seemed to reach a tilt point after he finished Eagles’ Week 4 win over Tampa Bay Buccaneers with only seven receiving yards of two catches.

Brown then shared a thinly veiled message on social media: “If you are not welcome, not listened to, pulling quietly,” his post read. “Don’t make a scene. Pull on your shoulders and be on the way.”

Kansas City Chiefs Star Travis Kelce questioned the method Brown used to express his irritation.

“You’re 4-0, boss. Come on, man,” Kelce said during the latest edition of the “New Heights” podcast.

Med-host and former Eagles-offensive Lineman Jason Kelce opposed his brother’s attitude.

“I don’t think it’s inevitable that a player of AJ Brown’s caliber – I think he should be sorry he’s not being used in this offense,” noted Jason, who played with Brown for two seasons, noticed.

“I think it’s a normal feeling and I think he should feel comfortable saying it to the players and coaches in this dressing room. I don’t. It’s not a DK feature, a selfish feature. AJ knows the level of player he is and what he can do for offenses.”

The retired Lineman later admitted, “Are there better ways to do this than by tweeting it out? Potentially.”

“To each of their own,” Travis replied.

Chief’s tight end then recognized Brown’s apparent frustration before explaining how he would handle things if he was in a similar situation.

“It’s frustrating for AJ right now, clearly because he goes to social media to let everyone know how frustrated he is,” Travis said. “It’s also really hard for me to go crazy when we win. I don’t find that energy or feeling in me if we win if we are successful if we put points if we win football matches.”

“I can’t say I’ve never been frustrated and mourned out and done something to let everyone know that this is how I feel about it. We all love F — ing game. We all want to win and we all want fun to do it.”

On Wednesday, Brown spoke with the media and approached his viral post. The three-time pro bowler took responsibility for letting his feelings overflow.

“Obviously, Sunday after the game, I let my frustrations boil over,” Brown said. “I didn’t talk to the media. I had the chance to fix my frustrations and I continued to let them boil over. It’s on me and I take full accountability for it.”

He also made it clear that his post “was not aimed at anyone” within the Eagles organization.

“My message on Twitter wasn’t aimed at anyone in the building. Not my trainer, not my quarterback, GM, no one. That’s why I take full accountability. I also have open communication with all my coaches and my quarterback.”

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni neglected any concern that Brown had a desire to play for another team. “I question nothing about his desire to play good football, his desire to be a good teammate, his desire to be here,” Sirianni said on Monday.

Brown pulled five catches in 27 yards for a week 2 matchup with chiefs. He was targeted only once in the Eagles seasonal opener against Dalla’s cowboys.

Eagles rewarded Brown with a three-year contract extension ahead of the 2024 season. The undefeated Eagles host the Denver Broncos this Sunday.
