Tristan Thompson responds to Raptors -Trainer Darko Rajakovics suggestions Cavaliers Star Missed Class

On Wednesday, Toronto Raptors coach Darko Rajaković Veteran Cavaliers Center Tristan Thompson described as a “no-class” player after Cavs’ 131-108 victory over Raptors.

Rajaković also suggested that Thompson’s actions show a lack of respect.

“I think what Tristan did was no class and disrespect,” Rajaković said during a press conference after benefit. “I don’t want to stand for it, for sure. I love when my team stands up for itself. It was no class.”

Rajaković was annoyed by Thompson’s two -handed sludge in the final seconds of the game.

Raptor players Scottie Barnes and Jamal Shead confronted Thompson immediately after the last buzzer sounded, and some fans directed BOOS on Cavs Big Man.

Thompson went to social media on Thursday to share his response to Rajakovic’s remarks. Thompson claimed that Raptors were dealing with a “full court press” even when Toronto pulled off double digits late in the game.

Cavaliers -coach Kenny Atkinson said he did not understand Thompson’s thought process at the time, but he also did not think there were “bad intentions” behind the dunk.

“I’m not sure what he was thinking,” said Atkinson. “Sometimes you play the game and you just have a reaction. I know with Tristan, there is no bad intention there. I just think you are playing and the goal of the game is to score. Unfortunately”

Thompson, who is from Canada, had four points in four minutes. He average 1.7 points and 3 rebounds per Match in 28 games this season.
