The US Ministry of Health and Human Services earned a message of violation to the state Maine on February 25 and declared that the state violated title IX by allowing Trans athletes to compete in girls’ sports.
According to the message obtained by Pakinomist Digital, the Maine Department of Education violates that title IX by refusing female students athletes “a straight option” to participate in athletics “by giving male athletes the opportunity to compete against female athletes in current and future athletic events.”
The message also states that if the violations are not corrected, reference can be made to the Ministry of Justice.

The message came in the midst of a feud between President Donald Trump and Maine Government Janet Mills over the state’s refusal to comply with the president’s executive order to keep biological men out of women’s and girls’ sports.
The state has been called “Ground Zero” in the national battle for the ban and protection of trans -cluttering in women’s sports after the state’s legislature Laurel Libby made a social media post pointed out a trans athlete who won a girls’ pole whale competition in February.
“If the Maine Democrats continue to double by allowing biological men to participate in girls’ sports, our students are losing hundreds of millions of dollars of federal funding. Gov. One day later, Mills’ office responded with a statement that threatened lawsuits against the Trump administration if it detained federal funding from the state. Then, Trump and Mills sparred verbally in a broadly published argument in the White House during a top species meeting with governors.

Trump confirmed his intention to punish states that continue to let trans-athletes compete with girls under Tuesday’s common address to Congress.
The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt insisted that Trump “doesn’t come back” when he goes after these states.
“The president is committed to ensuring that states are held responsible if they continue to allow men in women’s sports, which he believes is an irregular violation of taxpayers’ dollars and therefore the fight continues and the president will not settle,” Leavitt said. “This is a Commonsense policy, 80% of the American people, including more than 60% of Democrats, do not want men in women’s sports.”
