The Department of Education Secretary Linda McMahon announced on Friday that the newly formed title IX examination team will investigate the incident at a US fence event as Women’s Fence Stephanie Turner was disqualified and escorted out of the room for taking a knee in protest from an urge to opponent.

McMahon announced the news during an interview about Pakinomist’ “Faulkner Focus.”

“We have a special title IX Investigation team that will investigate anyone who was affiliated with this to make sure this does not continue to happen,” McMahon said. “The president has made Crystal aware that he will not tolerate men who can compete in women’s sports, he signed an executive order and we maintain title IX.

“For those who violate these provisions, we will examine you and intervene.”

US fence previously made a statement to Pakinomist Digital, which addresses the incident.

“The United States fence adopted our current transk and non-binary athlete policy in 2023. The policy was designed to expand access to fence sports and create inclusive, secure space. The policy is based on the principle that everyone should have the ability to participate in sports and was based on the available research,” the statement states.

A spokesman for Hencing Fencing also told Pakinomist Digital that Turner was not punished for her attitude against trans -cluttering, but simply to refuse to fence.

“In the case of Stephanie Turner, her disqualification was not related to any personal statement, but was merely the direct result of her decision to refuse to fence a qualified opponent that the FIE rules clearly ban,” the spokesman said.

The US hencing then dealt with the controversy with a public statement on Thursday and defended its trans-inclusion policies.

“The US Fence remains obliged to promote an inclusive, respectful society for everyone in our sport. We believe in the principle of creating a safe society where all athletes and members of the community have a place,” the statement reads.

“While we understand that there are a number of perspectives, US hencing will continue to engage in respectful, research-based dialogue and review as the policy develops in the Olympic and Paralympic movement as well as domestic law, hatred of any kind is not acceptable-in personal or personal.
