EXCLUSIVE: The US Department of Justice announced on Friday the creation of a title IX Special Investigation Team in connection with the Department of Education. The new initiative aims to tackle an “rising volume” of title IX cases, in the midst of a flury of controversial events involving trans athletes in girls and women’s sports in recent years.
DOJ provided an exclusive statement to Pakinomist Digital, quoting previous policies during the Joe Biden administration that enabled Trans -Inclusion in women’s and girls’ sports of the situation that the new study team seems to be tackling.
“Women throughout America have spent over the past four years franchized by Biden -Administration, which allowed men to compete in girls’ sports – in danger of their security, steal their scholarships and remove them from hard deserved prices,” the statement reads.
“This task force was created with the only mission to go for bad actors who continue to jeopardize young women with waking gender ideology. It will utilize any available legal resource to ensure that states and organizations follow title IX to protect women’s civil rights and competitive sports.”

The Biden -Administration took steps that started on day one of the former president’s period to enable trans -cluttering in women’s and girls’ sports.
On the inauguration day of the bite in January 2021, Biden signed a Executive Order on “Prevention and fighting discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.”
The order included a section that said, “Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the toilet, the dressing room or school sport.”
In March 2023 Democrats agreed to a transgender rights bill and suggested A decision “Recognizes that it is the duty of the federal government to develop and implement a transgender bill for rights.” The resolution specifically called for federal law to ensure that biological men can “participate in sports on teams and in programs that best adapt to their gender identity; [and] Use school facilities that best adapt to their gender identity. “
In April 2023, the Bid’s Education Department suggested a rule change that would have punished schools To prevent trans athletes from competing in women’s sports.
The proposal was titled “Nondiskrimation on the basis of sex in educational programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance: Sex -related eligibility criteria for male and female athletic teams.”
The rule would have banned individual states from banning participation in one-sex sports by gender identity rather than just sex. There are 23 states in the United States that have legislation in place to limit trans athletes from competing as women in public school sports.

In April 2024, Biden issued a sweeping title IX rewriting, which issued a ban on “sex” discrimination in schools based on gender identity, sexual orientation and “pregnancy or related conditions.” The rule came into force on August 1st, and for the first time the law stated that discrimination based on sex includes behavior related to a person’s gender identity.
As a result, more than two dozen lawyers generally sued the rule and argued that it would come into conflict with some of their state legislation blocking trans -tight students in participating in women’s sports.
The Supreme Court turned down an emergency request from Biden to enforce the rewrite in states that defied the rewrite in August.
When the election came around the Novemeber, the bite’s record of the issue may have beaten back on his party because it lost the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives.
ONE National Exit Poll Made by the affected women for America Legislative Action Committee found that 70% of moderate voters saw the issue of “Donald Trump’s resistance to trans -bright boys and men playing girls and women’s sports and by transient boys and men using girls and women’s bathrooms” as important to them.
In addition, 6% said it was the most important question of all, while 44% said it was “very important.”
After President Donald Trump returned to Embed, he signed an executive order banning trans athletes in women’s and girls sports on February 5th. However, many democratic-led states have refused to comply with the order despite the fact that most Democrats are against trans-cluttering.
A recent New York Times/Ipsos Survey Found that the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, do not think transking athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports. Of the 2,128 people who participated, 79%said that biological men who identify themselves as women should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports.
Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as Democrats or inclined Democrat, 67%said transkon athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.
Now, Doe and DOJ take the initiative to ensure that Trump’s agenda to protect girls and women’s athletes is performed and that those who are against it face consequences.
