Stop Anti -Semitism -Basic Liza Rez called FIFA and the White House FIFA World Cup 2026 Task Force to stop the campaign “Show Israel The Red Card” in front of Global Soccer Tournament.

The campaign began in February at a UEFA Champions League match in Scotland. Celtic FC fans unfolded a banner calling on FIFA and UEFA, the Confederation of which Israel is part of punishing the country’s national team over his answer in Gaza to Hamas’ 7. October 2023 terrorist attack. There was no punishment against Celtic FC or its fans for the banner.

Since then, CBC reported that the campaign has spread across other European countries, including Italy, Spain and Belgium, along with Brazil, Chile, Malaysia and Tunisia.

Rez said FIFA has done nothing to fight the problem.

“We have definitely not seen nothing that is so alarming,” she told Pakinomist Digital in a recent conversation. “We’ve seen the leader of FIFA say and do, again, absolutely nothing. We haven’t seen any of the fans being punished or removed from the games that keep these characters. So again, we want the task force that President Trump creates to step in before and be proactive and say, no, this is not welcome in the US. This will not fly here.”

Rez added that FIFA President Gianni Infantino should take a “strong stand” against the campaign.

“I think it should be eradicated right away,” she said. “Gianni Infantino has to take a strong stand and say, ‘Bigotry and Bias against the world’s only Jewish country are not welcome in any kind of organization I’m on my way.’ He has not yet done so.

“And because he doesn’t have it, we urge President Trump’s task force to step in and demand that this kind of, again, bias and isolation and destruction of Israel just are not welcome in the United States. Americans will not stand for it.”

Pakinomist Digital reached out to FIFA and UEFA for comment.

President Donald Trump tapped Andrew Giuliani, the son of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, as CEO of the Task Force.

Trump will act as chairman of the Task Force, while Vice President JD Vance will serve as Vice -President. As CEO, Giuliani is tasked with managing and supervising daily operations.

Trump also announced on Tuesday that Carlos Cordiro, a FIFA Senior Advisor, will serve as a senior adviser in the Task Force.

The Task Force was created to lead federal efforts to support the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and the FIFA world championship in 2026.
