President Donald Trump arrived at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City for the US Open Men’s Singles Final on Sunday between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
It’s Trump’s first visit to the Grand Slam Tennis Tournament since before entering the White House. He was seen at the event in September 2015 – months after he first announced his race to President. And it’s a pretty good time to be a fan of the sport.

Sinner and Alcaraz have cemented themselves as the top two stars in Post-Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal era. Novak Djokovic has proven that he could still win the Grand Slam titles, but he has not won since the 2023 US Open. He reached the semi -finals of each Grand Slam tournament this season.
While US open television stations were reportedly ordered to avoid showing disturbances in the crowd over Trump’s presence, Alcaraz was delighted to see Trump in the crowd.

“I think it is a privilege for the tournaments that has the president of each country just to support the tournament, to support tennis and support the match,” he said via The Guardian. “For me playing in front of him … I will try not to think about it.
“I don’t want me to be nervous because of it, but I think I’m attending the tennis match, it’s great for tennis to have the president in the final.”

Trump is set to be in Corporate Suite in the stadium.
