Trump makes saquon barkley joke after spending day with the Eagles Star

President Donald Trump spent his Sunday afternoon with Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley when he and his teammates were to visit the White House.

Trump touched his time with Barkley as he talked to journalists before he and Barkley traveled to Washington on the Air Force One. The two were seen traping by marine before the president approached journalists waiting along the tarmac.

“What a lovely guy is he. I would drive him, but I decided not to do that,” the president said.

Barkley will be among the Eagles players and staff celebrating their Super Bowl -Title Gains in the White House on Monday.

Barkley did not talk to journalists, but he was seen at Trump’s Bedminster Golf Course hanging with the president and others.

Running Back’s performance with Trump came a few days after Eagles teammate Jalen hurt, raised his eyebrows when he was silent on a question of whether he would visit the White House with the team to celebrate their Super Bowl championship.

An official in the White House confirmed to Pakinomist Digital in early March that an invitation from the president had been sent and that the team had “enthusiastically accepted.” This followed Eagles’ decision not to join the White House in 2018 after winning the franchise’s first Super Bowl ever.

During this time, Trump lifted the invitation to host Eagles after several players said they would not attend the visit because of his previous criticism of the national anthem’s protests.

But this month, Eagles Team owner Jeffrey Lurie called the “a time-disabled tradition” that the team looked forward to.
