President Donald Trump made history as the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl on Sunday and stole the show away from Taylor Swift. Then he made sure to mock her about it after the game.
Trump received a violent cheer from the Superdome audience when he was shown on screen under National Anthem, while the fans booted quickly as she appeared on Jumbotron during the game. Swift also had to see her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs, tight end travis kelce, suffering a crushing 40-22 loss for Philadelphia Eagles, as was the team she grew up rooting.
Trump mocked her and the team in a post about truth socially after the game. Trump credited supporters of his “Make America Great Again” movement for BOOS.
“The only one who had a harder evening than Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She was booed out of the stadium. Maga is very unforgivable!” Trump wrote.

Trump has been in conflict with Swift in the last year in the middle of his presidential campaign in 2024.
After Swift announced his endorsement for Kamala Harris to President on September 10, Trump appeared on “Fox & Friends” the next morning and insisted that he liked the wife of Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes, much better than Swift. Brittany Mahomes suggested support for Trump through activity on social media.
Trump even sent a post about truth that read “I hate Taylor Swift!” Days after Swift’s endorsement of Harris.
For NFL fans, Swift became a disputed figure over the last year after her relationship with Kelce was published in September 2023. She started taking part in most Chiefs games and every time she was there, NFL paneled -The cameras for her several times per day. Match.

Swift was credited for bringing a wave of new fans to Chiefs and NFL as a whole, especially female fans. But many long -time NFL fans were nauseated by the constant visuals of Swift at stake.
Swift appeared at last year’s Super Bowl and witnessed Kelce and Chiefs winning it game. Then her performances on the NFL Games this year continued much to the pain of fans who had become ill from seeing and hearing about her.
Swift was also noticeably distant from Brittany Mahomes at several matches this last season in the midst of controversy over Mahomes’ Trump support and Swift’s support for Harris. However, they continued to show public love in other ways, including a group dinner with Kelce and Patrick Mahomes just days before the Super Bowl.
And while Trump praised the Mahomes family, Kelce and even chose Chiefs to win the game, he had no reservations about spotting them all with his truth’s social post on Sunday night.

But Trump didn’t stop there.
He also spoke against the NFL’s new kick-off format, of which he has been a vocal critic since the first week of the season.
“The worst part of the Super Bowl, far from, so kickoff, where the ball sails through the air, the whole field is frozen, stiff. College -Football doesn’t, and not! If idea was it to ruin the game?” Trump wrote.
