President Donald Trump recently met with members of the PGA Tour in the effort to promote their discussions with life golf, and apparently he favors one side more than the other.
In June 2023, the rival trips announced that the two had been in discussions to eventually go together. But after, talks stopped PGA Trump to promote the negotiations.
Outside of the negotiating table, golf legend Rory McIlroy said he was playing a round with Trump “a few weeks ago” and the two had a “really good” discussion.

McIlroy then broke some news.
“I learned that he is not a fan of the life -format. I think he is … he is on [PGA] Tours page, “McIlroy said.
Trump has hosted life -golf -turnaments on his courses since the league’s start in 2022; A Trump course last hosted a PGA event in 2016.
It is a face of McIlroy who said by 2020 he would not play golf with Trump again when he questioned the president’s leadership in the early stages of the pandemic.
PGA -Commissioner Jay Monahan Recently, the trip “prayed” Trump “said to get involved for the benefit of the game, the good of the country and for all the countries involved.”

Tiger Woods withdraws from Genesis Invitational After Death of Mother
Adam Scott, a member of PGA Tour’s Player Advisory Board, was at the meeting, and said Trump’s “Love” of the game could be “useful” for a possible deal.
“It’s just a positive thing that the president of the United States is such a lover of Golf Game and understands some of the challenges that the professional game is facing at the moment …” told Scott Golf Channel this week ahead of Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines in San Diego, California. “He is a lover of the game and can hopefully be very helpful to make a decision about the professional game and help everyone get ahead.”
“It’s pretty easy to tie him to the golf game. He is passionate about what he owns several golf properties, amazing destinations around the world, and he has a relationship with Saudi Arabia, the Public Investment Fund, and he is a fan of PGA Tour too , certainly a fan of Tiger Woods, as we all are, ”Scott added. “Given that this is bound in government’s faith, he can be very helpful.”
McIlroy said back in November that he felt that Trump was becoming president for the second time could help “Clear the Way” For an agreement between PGA and LIFE.
