President Trump has claimed that he and Chinese President Xi Jinping had “approved the Tiktok Agreement” after months of negotiations, with several heavyweight American investors would be at the forefront of the US China Agreement.
Talking with Fox News Following Trump’s statement, US press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed: “We are 100% sure that an agreement is made … A deal that sets America first.”
Leavitt recognized the importance of the platform and noted that the country’s small businesses had benefited from Tikkoks E trading opportunities, and thus the importance of entering into an agreement.
America has finally reached a Tiktok -Agreement
Although details of the agreement remain during wrapping as the two nations end details and signing agreements, Leavitt confirmed that Oracle will be responsible for the platform’s data in the United States.
US investors are also said to be integrated into the deal where Trump indicates that Oracle’s Larry Ellison and Dells Michael Dell could both be involved.
Trump also referred to the potential involvement of Lachlan Murdoch, who has a huge impact on large parts of the world’s media, including Nova Entertainment, News Corp and Fox Corporation.
The deal ensures that Tiktok’s US unit will be a majority in the US-owned, with six of the seven board seats contained by US citizens. It would also comply with US laws that require Tiktok to be sold to an American buyer in the midst of security concerns.
This comes after legislators and intelligence agencies are concerned that Tiktok could give the Chinese government access to US user data and that China could influence what content Americans look through algorithmic manipulation. Leavitt confirmed that the United States would maintain control of UT users’ algorithms.
The White House has not yet confirmed the closure of the deal, but we expect to hear details very soon.
