US President Donald Trump paid tribute to the efforts of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, among other world leaders, for their role in achieving the Gaza Satisfaction Agreement.
Trump, who spoke at a press conference after the signing of the Gaza Sickness Agreement in Sharm el Sheikh on Monday, praised Prime Minister Shehbaz and the Chief of Staff and referred to him as “my favorite field marshal.” He later invited Shehbaz to share his views on the Peace Initiative.

When Sharif spoke in pressured, Sharif said, “Today, it’s one of the greatest days in contemporary history because peace has been achieved after tireless endeavors led by US President Donald Trump.”
He added, “President Trump is truly a man of peace who has worked relentlessly and tirelessly through these months, day out and day out to make this world a place to live with peace and prosperity.”
“Pakistan had nominated President Donald Trump at the Nobel Peace Prize for his excellent and extraordinary contributions to stopping the war between Pakistan and India and then obtaining a ceasefire,” he maintained.

Shehbaz also said: “Today I would like to nominate this great president of the Nobel Peace Prize because I really feel he is the most real, and the most wonderful candidate for the Peace Prize because he had made peace in South Asia and saved life for millions of people.”
“Now today in Sharm el Sheikh he achieves peace in Gaza and saves millions of lives in the Middle East,” he added.
PM continued, “Mr. President, I want to greet you for your exemplary and visionary leadership. I think you are the man the world needed the most at this time. The world will always remember you as a man who did everything went out of his way to stop eight wars.
“It is sufficient to say if he (President Trump) did not intervene with his wonderful team during these four days, the war could have escalated between India and Pakistan and who would have lived to tell what happened. Both India and Pakistan are nuclear forces.”
Shehbaz added, “Similarly, here in this part of the world, in the Middle East, contributions from President Trump and Egypt’s President Sisi will be written in history with golden words. May God bless you. God gives you a long life to serve as this in all the times that come.”
The Prime Minister also thanked Emir of Qatar, President of Turkiye, King of Jordan, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the leadership of the United Arab Emirates to work very hard and make valuable contributions to achieving peace in Gaza and the region.
