However, Democratic Congress women wore pink under Trump’s common address, one day after the Senate Democrats blocked the protection of women and girls in the sports law.

Meanwhile, some democratic governors across the country prevent the public schools of their states from following Trump’s executive order to keep biological men out of women’s and girls’ sports.
Maine, California, Minnesota and Massachusetts are all currently under investigation by the Department of Education for potential violations of title IX after their colleges were asked to defy Trump’s order and continue to enable trans athletes in girls’ sports. The department is also investigating a school district in Washington on the same topic, even after the district voted to ban trans athletes in girls’ sports and defy current state law.
“The president is committed to ensuring that states are held responsible if they continue to allow men in women’s sports, which he believes is an irregular violation of taxpayers’ dollars and therefore the fight continues and the president will not settle,” Leavitt said. “This is a Commonsense policy, 80% of the American people, including more than 60% of Democrats, do not want men in women’s sports.”

A recent New York Times/Ipsos Survey Found the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, do not think transnry athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports.
Of the 2,128 people who participated, 79% biological men who identify themselves as women said should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports. Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as Democrats or inclined Democrat, 67%said transkon athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.
Conservative activist Riley Gaines has promised to help seat all the legislators who voted against the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act, before up to the 2026 mid -terms.
“In some of these private, confidential conversations that I have had with several democratic senators, they assure me that they know it is absurd to give men into women’s sports and that they did not want it to happen to their daughters. But they are hiding behind many different excuses,” Gaines told Pakinomist Digital.
