President Donald Trump confirmed Tuesday that he will be present for FIFA Club World Cup Final Sunday, as the tournament, host of the United States, will end at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.
Talking to journalists at a cabinet meeting Tuesday, the president confirmed his plans to participate in the championship.

“I’m going to the game,” Trump said.

His performance this weekend in East Rutherford comes as no surprise as Trump has been a constant fixture at sporting events throughout his first and second periods, including no later than noon UFC Matches and Super Bowl -Lix in February.
The President also announced in March that he would set up a task force in the White House in anticipation of the club World Cup and 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will predominantly host US Canada and Mexico will also host more matches.
Trump leads the task force, while Vice President JD Vance acts as Vice -President.

In May, Trump announced that Andrew Giuliani, son of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, was appointed CEO to manage and oversee the day -to -day operations. Carlos Cordiro, a FIFA senior advisor, was also appointed senior adviser in the Task Force.
“He’s getting big. I have known him for a long time. He is a very competitive golfer, really good. He is also a very competitive person and he loves what we are doing. I will congratulate you and your family and your father, your great father, who is the greatest mayor of New York’s story,” Trump said of Giuliani in May after the Taskforce’s first official meeting.
“It’s a big post. You have to do well, Andrew.”
