President Donald Trump signs an executive order Friday creating a Task Force in the White House for the FIFA world championship in 2026, taking place in the US, Canada and Mexico, a white house official told Pakinomist Digital.

Trump will act as chairman of the Task Force, while Vice President JD Vance will act as Vice -President, the official confirmed. A CEO who has not been named will control and supervise daily operations.

The international tournament spanning North America begins in June 2026 and is the first World Cup for more than two decades taking place in several countries.
