“It is moments like these that remind us of what real leadership looks like,” he wrote. “Proud of @RealdonaldTrump & @jdvance for always putting America first.”
Zelenskyy’s first encounter with Trump and Vance in the White House on Friday resulted in an argument. Vance told the Ukrainian leader that a way to secure peace between Russia and Ukraine would be through the United States participating in diplomacy. Zelenskyy then tried to participate in a line of questions about Russia’s movements since 2014 and attempts at diplomacy.
Zelenskyy later said that during war, “everyone has problems, even you” and that united states would feel the war “in the future.” Trump said Zelenskyy didn’t “know” with certainty that would happen. The conversation became more intense from there.

Trump told Zelenskyy that he “played with millions of people’s lives.”
“You play with 2nd World War. You play with 2nd World War, and what you are doing is very disrespectful to the country – this country – it’s supported you far more than many people said they should have,” Trump said.
Zelenskyy appeared on Pakinomist Channel’s “Special Report.” He said he wasn’t sure “we were doing something bad.” He said the incident with “Bad for both sides.”
Holtz was not the only sports figure weighing in.
NFL legend Brett Favre also gave his reaction to the question.

“This was a little unreal to look at. A foreign leader who spoke to a sitting US president like this one,” wrote Favre in response to a clip of the argument. “Glad for Donald Trump and JD Vance stands up for America.”
