“Let me start by saying this – the FBI was great for me,” he said at “Pivot Podcast.” “I was doing great. I worked with a fantastic group of individuals. I think some of the things they do now I personally did not agree with … immigration. I did not agree with how the administration came in and tried to get individuals to do things against theirs – it was not right. An example of being immigration, right?

“Everyone was told, ‘You want to follow the most dangerous criminals,’ but what you see on TV and what actually happened was, people didn’t go after it. Personally, it didn’t really sit with me who didn’t sit right with my conscience. You have the ability to refuse an order.”

Tillman, a two-time pro bowler in the NFL, said he would be “on the right side of the story.”

“I earned enough money for the place where I could just go away and say ‘you know what guys? I’m ok. I think I’m good. My first eight years I’ve been solid, we did some good things. Some of the things you guys do now, I don’t necessarily agree with.’ And it’s not in Chicago coming from Washington.
