King of Tulsa season 4 has officially been renewed. The big news was announced ahead of Season 3’s premiere, which isn’t entirely surprising since it’s one of the top Paramount+ shows.
Which we are eagerly waiting for King of Tulsa season 4, here’s everything we know so far about the show’s next outing from release date speculation, predicted cast, plot rumors and more.
Full spoilers follow King of Tulsa season 1-3. Potential spoilers are also discussed for season 4.
Tulsa King Season 4: Is There a Release Date?
King of Tulsa season 4 was renewed on September 16, as confirmed by the show’s official Instagram, just days before season 3 began airing on Paramount+.
Even though season 3 doesn’t end on the streamer until November 23rd, it’s hard to predict a release date for season 4, but I’ll give it a good shot.
Filming for both seasons 2 and 3 was completed in August and July respectively, then released in mid-September in both 2024 and 2025.
With the series renewal, this could mean that season 4 will start production in the first half of 2026, and therefore I would predict a release date of mid to late 2026. But this is all pure speculation.
Tulsa King Season 4: Has A Trailer Been Released?
While Season 3 is still airing on Paramount+ and there has yet to be any official news about Season 4’s production, we’re far from a King of Tulsa Season 4 trailer. For season 3, a teaser dropped in early August and an official trailer in early September.
So if the times line up, The General could return for the next season in 2026, meaning we could be looking at the same time in 2026 for trailers to drop. I’ll update here as soon as we hear more.
Tulsa King Season 4: Cast Predicted
Spoilers follow King of Tulsa season 1 to 3.
There has been no official King of Tulsa season 4 cast announcements yet, and while season 3 is still airing, it’s not clear who will survive the dangerous drama. Here’s the cast we expect to return (so far):
- Sylvester Stallone as Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi
- Martin Starr as Bodhi
- Annabella Sciorra as Joanne Manfredi
- Jay Will as Tyson Mitchell
- Garrett Hedlund as Mitch Keller
- Dana Delany as Margaret Devereaux
- Neal McDonough as Cal Thresher
- Frank Grillo as Bill Bevilaqua
- Mike ‘Cash Flo’ Walden as Bigfoot
- Chris Caldovino as Dennis ‘Goodie’ Carangi
- Vincent Piazza as Vince Antonacci
- McKenna Quigley Harrington as Grace
- Bella Heatcote as Cleo Montague
Although we don’t know anything crystal clear about King of Tulsa cast, we know something about an important crew member.
Original showrunner and executive producer on Season 1, Terence Winter, famously left ahead of Season 2, returning as a consultant on Season 3. And according to Variety , it’s been revealed that Winter will return as “the show’s head writer in addition to being an executive producer.”
And that means, for King of Tulsa season 3, showrunner David Erickson will not return. Instead, he will focus on Mayor of Kingstownanother of Taylor Sheridan’s popular shows for the streamer, and a King of Tulsa spinoff, which I’ll get into in more detail below.
Tulsa King Season 4: Story Synopsis and Rumors
Full spoilers follow King of Tulsa season 1-3. Potential spoilers for King of Tulsa season 4.
It’s a little hard to predict right now where King of Tulsa season 4 will go next, as episodes of season 3 will continue to air until November 23. And while I don’t have an inside track to the writer’s room, I wouldn’t share any spoilers if I did!
So without trying to guess how Season 3 will play out, I’d at least imagine it King of Tulsa season 4 will continue in the same style as the previous seasons. Rejected by the New York crime family he once worked for, Dwight will continue to build his empire in Tulsa, fighting power struggles and battling opponents who want to topple his reins.
In Season 3, fans have been introduced to a new character (and villain), Robert Patrick as Jeremiah Dunmire. And Stallone previously told TV Insider, speaking about Season 3, that: “You’re going to run into him this season, but it’s a matter of him just finally, finally, throwing down and saying, ‘I know you’re going to try to kill me.’
“So we’re going to try to figure this out, or one of us has to go. That’s the theme, and it’s starting to play out through all 10 episodes. It’s going to continue into next season.”
You’ll notice that I haven’t included Jeremiah Dunmire in the expected cast list, and that’s purely because I don’t know if they’ll ever be able to figure it out. But maybe they do (and then I’ll update it, of course).
If they do, Dunmire could well return with his son, Cole, or there could be entirely new villains to face in Season 4.
Will there be more seasons of Tulsa King?
With King of Tulsa to get an early renewal for Season 4, which is yet to go into production, there is no news yet of a Season 5. But we do have something to talk about – a King of Tulsa spin-off.
In season 3, Samuel L. Jackson joins as Dwight’s former prison friend Russell Lee Washington. And there is a duality in his appearance King of Tulsaas of June 2025, it was confirmed via. Deadline that Samuel L. Jackson’s character would have his own spin-off, titled NOLA king.
In another expansion to the already famous Taylor Sheridan universe on Paramount+, NOLA king will see Jackson continue as his character as Deadline explains, “He’ll take on Dwight in Tulsa before heading down to take over New Orleans.”
Sources have also reportedly said that filming for the new show “eyes a February start”, which could well coincide with filming for King of Tulsa season 4, although none of this has been confirmed. Anyway, more King of Tulsa will at least live on through the spin-off series.
