Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visits Pakistan this week, according to Turkish officials.
Turkish communications director, Fahrettin Altun, said at X (formerly Twitter) that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan this week.
Fahrettin Altun declared that President Erdogan will visit these countries from 10 to 13 February.
During the visit, President Erdogan will discuss all aspects of bilateral connections and explore opportunities to improve cooperation through key projects.
The Turkish official added that Erdogan, after visiting Malaysia, will be the co -chair of the strategic cooperation council meetings at High Level in Indonesia and Pakistan.
Fahrettin Altun mentioned that agreements are expected to be signed to strengthen the legal framework for bilateral relations, and President Erdogan will also meet with business leaders in the host countries.
Special attention will be paid to Gaza, and regional and global issues will also be discussed during the visit.
Previously, President Asif Ali Zardari met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a short stopover in Turkiyes Istanbul while on his way to Portugal.
The meeting took place at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport State Guesthouse before President Erdogan’s departure to Malaysia.
Zardari, who was preparing to leave Türkiye, met with the Turkish leader before a scheduled press conference.
According to a statement released by the president’s press wing in Islamabad, President Zardari was warmly welcomed by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan upon his arrival. The two leaders exchanged pleasures before participating in a productive discussion about different issues of mutual interest.
