Whether it is called tush Push or The Brotherly Shove, Philadelphia Eagles’ famous plays will again be a talking point during the peak season.
The Eagles used the piece to the fullest extent during the 2024 Super Bowl Run all the way to win a championship. And that has become a point in violation of the NFL when Athletic reported that Green Bay Packers submitted a proposal to get the game banned.

Eagles Offensive Lineman Lane Johnson offered a one-emoji response to the report.
The trooping Packer’s President CEO Mark Murphy revealed in his monthly Q&A column why he was not a fan of the play before the Eagles defeated Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl Lix.

“I want to see that the league forbids pushing or helping the runner (qb) on this spectacle. There used to be a rule prohibiting this but it is no longer enforced because I think it was thought to be too difficult For the officials to see.
The NFL competition committee will probably have to decide what to do with the play. The best retort to defend the Eagles on these card-yardage situations is not to let them enter that scenario in the first place.
Before the Super Bowl, Eagle’s head coach Nick Sirianni told journalists that it wasn’t really about the play, but the players performing it.
“It’s always a topic for conversation: Should this spectacle be banned? But the success we have is not always replicated throughout the league,” he added via the pro football speech on February 6th. “We saw it last week with the game we are studying, Kansas City against Buffalo, stopped them in a critical situation.
