Security forces targeted a group of terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Kolpur, the Kachhi district, Balochistan, reported the military’s media wing on Friday.
The operation, which was launched based on reports of the presence of terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed Proxy group Fitna Al Hindustan, was confirmed by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The security forces quickly engaged the terrorists’ location, resulting in a fierce exchange of fire. The operation led to neutralization of two terrorists confirmed to be sponsored by India, ISPR said.
In addition to removing the terrorists regained security forces a significant cache of weapons and ammunition. These individuals were actively involved in several terrorist activities orchestrated by India in the region, the statement added.
The operation continues with continuous sanitization efforts to eliminate remaining threats in the area. ISPR confirmed Pakistan’s obligation to remove Indian sponsored terrorism and bring the perpetrators to justice.
