Rawalpindi:
Another two people who are allegedly involved in making inappropriate videos of female patients at Kahuta THQ Hospital have been identified and are currently under investigation by District Health Authority’s investigative committee.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had previously arrested Shakil, a radiology -machineist, and Zainul Abiden, a departmental servant at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Kahuta, to have harassed female patients and recording illegal videos.
Shakil is also accused of having extortion of women using the footage. The arrests made on July 9, 2025, followed a complaint that led to the filing of a four according to the 2016 Peca Act, which marked a significant breach of medical ethics and public confidence.
Kahuta Health Authority CEO Dr. Asif Arbab Khan Niazi revealed in a statement to the app on Thursday that the question goes back to 2022, when Shakil was warned and monitored by male and female officials under Dr. Zaheer’s supervision. Despite a previous study and punishment, Shakil did not reform his behavior.
“Recently, a complaint was made with the videos to the FIA, which led to the arrest of Shakil and another individual. We have suspended them, launched a new study and also suspended two other employees who knew about the videos but failed to report them.
“We have expanded the study and two more employees are being investigated so as not to inform the hospital’s management despite being aware of the illegal activities,” he added. “The health authority does not tolerate malicious actions from the hospital staff.”
The first study of the allegations confirmed that Shakil acted inappropriately with a female patient in the X -ray room while Zain registered the incident.
A three-member survey committee is formed by DHA.
