Indiana Pacers -Star Tyrese Haliburton reportedly suffered a devastating Achilles injury under the team’s NBA FINALS GAME 7 tab to Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
Haliburton tore his Achilles-sen in his slip in the first quarter and is likely to miss out on the entire 2025-26 season, ESPN reported Monday. Pacers Guard was the third player to suffer from the devastating damage in which Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum and Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard also dealt with cracked Achilles senes during the playoffs.

The pacers advertised after Haliburton left the game that he would not return due to a lower right-bone injury. Haliburton’s father, John, told Espns Lisa Salters that it was an Achilles injury.
“He wants to be back,” said Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle after the loss 103-91. “I don’t have any medical information about what’s what, what might or may not have happened. But he’s back in time and I think he’ll make a full recovery.”
Haliburton began to warm up to Indiana early in the game. He scored nine points on three 3-Pointers and was driving past the NBA Finals MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as he fell to the ground.

It looked like Haliburton knew how devastating the damage would be when he knocked the fist on the floor of frustration. He was already dealing with a calf injury before the game.
Haliburton appeared as one of the best stars in the playoffs through his clutch shooting.
“Many of us hurt the loss, and he was up there and comforted us. That’s what Tyrese Haliburton is,” said Pacers -Guard Tj McConnell. “He’s just the greatest.”

Indiana will have a few decisions out of season that need to be made regarding the look of her list and whether they will decide to go to another championship in 2025-26.
