UAE announces scholarship program for Pakistani students

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a scholarship program to provide higher education opportunities for students from Balochistan.

The students were chosen after written studies from different districts in Balochistan. Among the 25 selected students are 5 women. The scholarship recipients will pursue their education at some of the best educational institutions in UAE.

The purpose of this scholarship is to give Pakistan’s youth, especially Balochistan, with an opportunity to receive education at a global level. The scholarship recipients expressed their gratitude to the governments of Pakistan and the UAE as well as the Pakistani Army to give them this educational opportunity.

The students mentioned that this scholarship marks a significant milestone in their educational journey, and they plan to use this opportunity to bring pride to their country and province.

Previously, the Sindh government has announced scholarships for six deserved students to study at Oxford University, which marks a significant step in Benazir Bhutto Graduate Scholarship.

The announcement came after an appointment morandum (MOU) was signed in London, which officially facilitates these options.

Mou was signed in the presence of Bilawal Bhuttozze-Zze, president of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), which highlighted the importance of education and empowerment during the ceremony.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah revealed that three male and three female students from Sindh would receive these scholarships annually in collaboration with Oxford Pakistan.

Previously approved Punjab Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expansion of the Honhaar scholarship scheme for students from other provinces.
