UAE -Grant Visa -Exemption to Pakistan -Employees

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has given Visa exemption for Pakistani diplomatic and official passport owners.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar published the announcement on X Sunday and said the deal was obtained during his meeting with UAE -Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on June 24 in Abu Dhabi.

Dar, who also serves as the country’s foreign minister, said that both fraternal countries during the meeting agreed on mutual visa exemption for diplomatic and official passports.

An Agreement Memorandum (MOU) was signed to make this agreement effective and enforceable. It was agreed that the Visa exemption would come into force 30 days after the Mou signing.

“[I] Am pleased to confirm that I have been informed by the UAE authorities that Visa Waiver for diplomatic and official Pakistani passports entering UAE has been activated, with effect from July 25, 2025, in all UAE airports. “

He also announced that a similar mutual facility for UAE citizens has also been implemented in all Pakistani airports.

According to DAR, both sides during his meeting with the UAE Foreign Minister agreed on mutual visa exemptions on diplomatic and official passports. “We both signed a Mou to make this event efficient and operational after 30 days after the signing of the said Mou,” he said.

Earlier this month, UA’s Interior Minister LT Gen Ince Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan insured “Full Support” in acceleration visa for Pakistani citizens. Al Nahyan’s statement came during a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
